Shelton Wilson Charged with Meth Trafficking

On November 30, 2020, TFO Cory Dean was working an area of high drug complaints within Geneva County. At approximately 09:21 P.M., TFO Cory Dean conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Ford Explorer bearing Alabama license plate 3001BF2, near the intersection of AL 27
and Lake Fox Road in Chancellor, within Geneva County. TFO Dean was assisted by Deputy Andrew Williams, with the Geneva County Sheriffs Office, and K9 Dazey.
The driver was identified as Shelton Obrian Wilson from Enterprise, AL. After a positive alert on the vehicle by K9 Dazey, approximately three (3) ounces of crystalized substance believed to be methamphetamine, commonly known as "ICE", was found on Wilson's person. Also found on Wilson's person was approximately four (4) grams of green, plant-like material believed to be marijuana. After a search of the vehicle, Officers also recovered paraphernalia from within.
Shelton Wilson was arrested and charged with Trafficking in methamphetamine and placed in the Geneva County Jail without incident.
