Geneva County is accepting full-time Correctional Officers applications to complete admission and release of inmates, and obtain medical care and transportation for inmate's required travel.  Insures meals and prescribed medication are provided on schedule.  Responsible for security, safety, and appropriate control of inmates to protect all inmates, jail personnel, and the public.  Investigates and reports problems between inmates.  Experience in this line of work strongly preferred but not required.  High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: $9.97 per hour. BC/BS insurance and Alabama State Retirement available on date of hire.  Fourteen paid Holidays per year.  Sick Leave and Vacation accrue from date of hire.
