On 4/09/2022 dispatch received a call-in reference to a vehicle parked behind a house that was known to be unoccupied in Malvern, Al. Deputy Martin was dispatched to the residence and upon arrival noticed a vehicle parked behind the residence. Upon further investigation Deputy Martin observed the keys in the ignition and the vehicle was loaded with several boxes and plastic totes. Deputy Martin could hear someone moving inside the residence and then observed a male exit the residence. Deputy Martin took the subject into custody to further his investigation. After determining that the suspect was Jonathan Rhodes, and he had no right to be there. Rhodes was placed under arrest Burglary and Theft of Property. After a search of the vehicle a small box was found which contained Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia. We would like to thank Slocomb Police Department who assisted at the scene.

A total bond of 24,000 dollars was set by the Judge at first appearance.
