On 8/9/2022 Deputy Paul Dickerson responded to an address in Hartford Alabama, which is in Geneva County.  The call was about a theft of property.  It was determined that someone's credit card had been taken and used without the permission of the owner.  The credit card was used in Alabama and in Florida. 

The case was turned over to Investigator Allen Cole. During the investigation, it was determined that a Marcus W. Gilmore had taken the credit card and used it without permission.  Marcus W. Gilmore was arrested on eleven counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and is currently still in jail.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
